We know, Pakistan Cricket Board announced about start PPL T20 in October 2012.
They selected 16 teams to play in PPL T20 2012.

Pakistan Cricket Board announce PPL T20 tournament held in October 2012. In first season of PPL T20/Pakistan Premier League T20 16 cricket teams will participate. It is the biggest event for Pakistan Cricket in present.
